MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES regardless of test results or vaccination status. 

This policy is based on guidance and recommendations issued by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other authoritative or controlling government-issued health standards.

The following are detailed protocols designed to protect the safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff:

• Limited daily attendance capacities and timed-entry ticketing have been implemented to promote physical distancing. All guests are highly encouraged to purchase tickets online. Access to all galleries is not guaranteed.
• For guests (age 12+) who received an immunization within the U.S., a photo or hard copy of a CDC vaccination card or other official immunization record showing proof of the following vaccines is acceptable: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson. For immunizations outside of the U.S., the following vaccines are acceptable: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac.
• Please stay home if you are feeling sick, experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with, or showing signs of, COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
• Groups may not exceed more than 15 people, including children.
• Upon entering the Museum, all guests will have their temperature taken by Museum greeters. Any guest with a temperature 100.4 degrees or higher will be asked to leave.
• Properly fitted masks that cover the nose and mouth are mandatory for guests ages 2+ in all areas of the Museum, except when visiting the Museum Garden or while actively eating or drinking in The Restaurant or Great Hall. No neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandannas, or face coverings with valves, mesh, or holes are permitted.
• Physical distancing is required; guests should stay at least six (6) feet (about two arms’ length) from others and from groups.
• Help prevent the spread of germs by washing your hands often with soap and water for at least twenty seconds and by not touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Please cover your cough. Hand-sanitizing stations can be found throughout the Museum.
• Please do not touch the artwork, frames, platforms, labels, display cases, or anything used to protect the art.
• Restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the day.
• Please follow directions from Norton staff and signage for physical distancing, reducing contact, and other guidelines for use of facilities.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By visiting the Norton Museum of Art, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
